Head Self Drill Socket Cap Screw
Product Description
With a low-profile, countersunk head, Head cap screws are ideal for applications requiring a strong fastener with a flush mount. For example, Hexagon socket head cap screws are often used in projects what require moving parts to pass over a fastened area. Because of their ability to mount flush with the surface, Hexagon combination screws are less apt to snag objects moving overhead. Head cap screws are crafted from either alloy or stainless steel with plain, zinc or black oxide finish and they are made to conform to ASME B18.3, DIN 7991 or ISO 10642 specifications. Use an allen wrench (hex key) for installation and removal.
What type of head do these screws have?
As standard, this entire range comes with hexagon cap heads built onto the screws. Meaning a Hexagon key/Allen key will need to be used to fully secure the screws into their corresponding sockets. Please make note of the thread sizes of screws you are using as the sockets will need to have identical metric threads to be fixed.
